Lineare Differentialgleichungssysteme
Systeme in Matrixform
$$\begin{cases} \dot x = a\,x + b\,y \\ \dot y = c\,x + d\,y \end{cases} \qquad\Longleftrightarrow\qquad \dot{\vec x} = A\,\vec x \quad\text{mit } A = \begin{pmatrix} a & b \\ c & d \end{pmatrix}.$$
Jede lineare Differentialgleichung 2. Ordnung lässt sich so umschreiben. Beispiel Federschwinger $\ddot x + 2\delta\dot x + \omega^2 x = 0$: Mit $y = \dot x$ wird daraus $\dot x = y$, $\dot y = -\omega^2 x - 2\delta y$, also $A = \begin{pmatrix} 0 & 1 \\ -\omega^2 & -2\delta \end{pmatrix}$.
Der Eigenwert-Ansatz
Wie bei einer einzelnen Gleichung $\dot x = a x$ mit Lösung $e^{at}$ probiert man $\vec x(t) = e^{\lambda t}\,\vec v$. Einsetzen ergibt $\lambda e^{\lambda t}\vec v = A\,e^{\lambda t}\vec v$, also
Eigenwertproblem
$$A\vec v = \lambda\vec v \qquad\Longleftrightarrow\qquad \lambda^2 - \operatorname{sp}(A)\,\lambda + \det A = 0$$
Fall 1: zwei verschiedene reelle Eigenwerte
Beispiel 1: ẋ = x + 2y, ẏ = 3x mit x(0) = 1, y(0) = 0
$\operatorname{sp} A = 1$, $\det A = -6$: $\lambda^2 - \lambda - 6 = 0$ ergibt $\lambda_1 = 3$, $\lambda_2 = -2$.
Eigenvektoren aus $(A - \lambda E)\vec v = \vec 0$: Für $\lambda_1 = 3$ ist $\begin{pmatrix} -2 & 2 \\ 3 & -3 \end{pmatrix}\vec v = \vec 0$, also $\vec v_1 = \begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ 1 \end{pmatrix}$. Für $\lambda_2 = -2$ ist $\begin{pmatrix} 3 & 2 \\ 3 & 2 \end{pmatrix}\vec v = \vec 0$, also $\vec v_2 = \begin{pmatrix} 2 \\ -3 \end{pmatrix}$.
$$\vec x(t) = C_1\,e^{3t}\begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ 1 \end{pmatrix} + C_2\,e^{-2t}\begin{pmatrix} 2 \\ -3 \end{pmatrix}.$$
Anfangswert: $C_1 + 2C_2 = 1$, $C_1 - 3C_2 = 0$ ergibt $C_1 = \frac35$, $C_2 = \frac15$. Also $x(t) = \frac35 e^{3t} + \frac25 e^{-2t}$ und $y(t) = \frac35 e^{3t} - \frac35 e^{-2t}$.
Fall 2: komplexe Eigenwerte α ± βi
Ist die Diskriminante $\Delta = \operatorname{sp}(A)^2 - 4\det A$ negativ, sind die Eigenwerte komplex: $\lambda = \alpha \pm \beta i$. Zum Eigenvektor $\vec v = \vec u + i\,\vec w$ liefert die Eulersche Formel $e^{(\alpha + i\beta)t} = e^{\alpha t}(\cos\beta t + i\sin\beta t)$ zwei reelle Lösungen – Real- und Imaginärteil:
$$\vec x_1 = e^{\alpha t}\left(\vec u\cos\beta t - \vec w\sin\beta t\right),\qquad \vec x_2 = e^{\alpha t}\left(\vec u\sin\beta t + \vec w\cos\beta t\right).$$
Beispiel 2: ẋ = −x − 2y, ẏ = 2x − y
$\operatorname{sp} A = -2$, $\det A = 5$, $\lambda = -1 \pm 2i$. Zu $\lambda = -1 + 2i$ gehört $\vec v = \begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ -i \end{pmatrix}$, also $\vec u = \begin{pmatrix} 1 \\ 0 \end{pmatrix}$, $\vec w = \begin{pmatrix} 0 \\ -1 \end{pmatrix}$:
$$\vec x(t) = C_1\,e^{-t}\begin{pmatrix} \cos 2t \\ \sin 2t \end{pmatrix} + C_2\,e^{-t}\begin{pmatrix} \sin 2t \\ -\cos 2t \end{pmatrix}.$$
$$\vec x_1 = e^{\lambda t}\,\vec v,\qquad \vec x_2 = e^{\lambda t}\left(t\,\vec v + \vec w\right).$$
det A < 0
det > 0, Δ > 0, sp < 0
det > 0, Δ > 0, sp > 0
Δ < 0, sp < 0
Δ < 0, sp > 0
sp = 0, det > 0
| Eigenwerte | Typ | Stabilität |
|---|---|---|
| reell, verschiedene Vorzeichen ($\det A < 0$) | Sattelpunkt | instabil |
| reell, beide negativ | Knoten | asymptotisch stabil |
| reell, beide positiv | Knoten | instabil |
| komplex, Realteil $\alpha < 0$ | Strudel (Spiralpunkt) | asymptotisch stabil |
| komplex, Realteil $\alpha > 0$ | Strudel | instabil |
Linearisierung in (0 | 0): sp A = −2, det A = 5 → Strudel – asymptotisch stabil
Schreibweise: x^2, 2x, x*y, sin(x), e^x, Dezimalzahlen mit Komma. Die Bahnen werden mit dem Runge-Kutta-Verfahren berechnet.
Nichtlineare Systeme: Linearisieren
